Great view into the lives of Finnish people from the past few centuries. There is a really wide variety of homes that are very well preserved and showcase how people lived in the past. The park is really well laid out and also offers some nice views of Helsinki and the waters around it. Allow about 2-3 hours for a visit.

Nice big park full of history and nature. You can have a refreshing walk there as well as to visit houses- museums. Squarels. Recommended!

Very nice place to visit for whole family. We enjoyed exploring the old houses and their backyards. It's even possible to see the houses from oitside for free, as the island on which the museum is located, offers also chance to eat at restaurant near beach and swim and just in general - strolling around the island.

This open air museum is worth a visit. We spent here a lovely day, walking through the beautiful nature of the island and the history and tradition of this place. Some of the traditional houses can be visited on the inside as well.

Very nice place. Putting four stars only for the fact that it is a museum but not the actual village. Most of the buildings are brought there for exposition. But apart from than, it is definitely a must visit place. The island is small and can be walked all across in couple of hours.

You can see the traditional Finnish life. There are also some activities for kids. Highly recommended.

Great place for a walk and some ice cream. Know the weather before going-- luckily when I visited, sun was shining, 20C, light wind, but it is, of course, several exhibits splayed over Seurasaari Island. Your ticket is purchased just past the white bridge when you get on the island. For entry into the church and other exhibits, you will need a ticket. But you won't need a ticket for some great photos, some exhibits, and a splendid time.
