When you step into SPICES, you are immediately greeted by the staff. The restaurant is warm and inviting, with an attractive stone fountain standing in the center of the restaurant. The smell of Asian cuisine is making your mouth water and you look over the buffet line deciding what to take. The price is fair, considering that there aren't too many varieties of food, but enough that you'll find something that you enjoy. The food quality isn't anything to write home about, it doesn't stand out from other Asian restaurants in either a good or bad way, but the food was good, warm, its brought out in small amounts in order to keep it hot and fresh. The deep fried sushi isn't anything I'd eat again though, and honestly I hoped for a little wider selection. The restaurant itself is in immaculate condition. The bathrooms are clean and well maintained, and it is a place which I'd be happy to return to if I want decent Asian cuisine on a budget.
Came in just as they closed. Nevertheless we were told we could order take-away and boy am i glad we did. The 2 portions we got were the best asian food ive had in a LONG while. Tasty, succulent and just right. And it was cheap too! Will definately go there many more times. Two thumbs up!
