The only reason one should consider St.Peter Line/Moby service is a visa-free entry to St.Petersburg. The ship they have is 34 years old, and used to operate Helsinki - Stockholm route in its better days. Despite the renovations the age of the ship shows. Service on the ship is completely disorganized, and the crew and service personnel speak just basic English. Embarkation/disembarkation process, as well as customs and border formalities takes about 2 hours. On the plus side - the Baltic sea is beautiful and can't be ruined even by a horrible \cruise ship\ experience.

It's an old ship but maintained quite well. Sadly, such big vessel only has 2 small old lifts. They should prioritize the passengers who stayed in upper deck to use 1st instead and not leaving us behind to use staircase when the lifts work so slow. We paid 3x the price more than the lower deck, is this the privilege we should have?

Took the Anastasia ferry from Helsinky to St Petersburg and back. On the way there there was loud shouting in the hall of our cabin in the middle of the night that awoke us several times. Ok on the way back. In St Petersburg we paid for a 3hour visit to the Hermitage that actually really lasted only 1 hour and 15 minutes. Moreover there was a stop to a tourist souvenir trap which was totally unnecessay. The 3 hour bus tour became really less than a two hour bus visit (with no working microphone for the guide). Felt did not get what we paid for.

Good partner to St.Petersburg

Ticket doesn't include wifi, no hair dryer (with a deposit you can borrow for 2 hours only), smaller room than other lines, dated rooms. On the other hand, staff at the counter found me a discount without me asking and reissued my ticket to include breakfast at no additional cost.

Worst cruise ship on the baltic sea. Crazy prices, bad service, bad information. Not worth the cost.

St Petersburg to Helsinki cruise was very good. The most negative aspect was the check in process, however I have seen worse at airports. There was a good variety of food on board. The food I sampled was good and reasonably priced. Overall not a bad option for combining the cost of lodging and transportation.

Good way to visit russia without obtaining visa. The ship is super old, the prices in so called duty free store are expensive.
