Just stepped in to see what it was like and felt like I had stepped back in time. What a beautiful church with beautiful stained glass windows and high vaulted ceilings. The organ is incredible with pipes that dwarf ones expectations. Well worth the time to visit and discover.

The cathedral of Tampere is an exceptional church, beautiful in winter, surrounded by snow and in summer amongst colourful flowers. Usually, I am not moved by Lutheran churches, being too mimimal for my taste. But this one has two beautiful, albeit controversial frescoes. Go and see for yourself, definitely worth a visit!
Beautiful dome with some very interesting art pieces. Really a must see even though it’s a little besides all the “main” attractions this lovely industrial town has to offer. But if you are here. That’s where you should go
