Black sausages, local specialty. Sausages sold here are far better than what I've tasted in local Tampere hotels. Worth the trip!

The Tapola Mustamakkara is a must when you visit Tampere. It might not look like much, in fact it usually draws all kinds of associations when presented to someone who's never had it before. Be brave and put the prejudice aside. You'll be surprised. Tip: Have a glass of milk and some lingonberry jam along with it.
