This is a tiny airport in central Finland. One baggage carousel and one "gate"... You walk outside and board the plane. This is also the transfer point for flights from Helsinki to places further north - so the plane may stop here for fifteen minutes while people disembark or board the plane. The airport has about fifteen people total, most of them behind the scenes. Two or three people were up front and helped everyone with what they needed. The were very friendly and kind and helpful! They speak English very well as well as Swedish, Russian, and of course Finnish.

Airport works properly but the lack of public transport is very negative point. If arriving late, and you have not booked the taxi, you might to wait the taxi 20 minutes, outside.

A nice airport for its size. No queuing and plenty of benches. There's also a restaurant and some car-rental services.
