The organization received a really bad reputation because of the actions of the former operating company Talvivaara OY. Since the beginning of Terrafame's operations, they have worked hard to improve everything in the organization at the mine it operates on. The safety of the workers is the priority number one and the wellbeing of the surrounding environment comes hand to hand. The safety protocols, water management, care for environment, production processes and overall management have improved a lot even more i forgot to mention. I dont personally know anything about the overall quality of the products Terrafame produces for sale, but by looking at the improvements the company has made in the past years the increase of sales, I bet the quality is somewhat close to average quality in the industry or better. I worked as a summerboy at the organization and I must say that the overall experience was amazing! They took really good care of me, trained me well for the job, and the job didn't create any pressure nor stress. Still the job was challenging enough to keep it interesting and pleasant during whole summer!

Terrafamea aina syytetään saastuttamisesta esim. lehdissä, mutta viereistä Mondo Mineralssin saastutuksesta ei koskaan puhuta.
