Insanely good surprise tasting menu. A thoughtful, creative & delicious mix of unexpected Finnish ingredients and Mexican flavours. Solid, delightful, left our mouths watering for more.
What a wonderful surprise! It’s so difficult to find good, authentic Mexican food in Europe (almost always mistaken with Tex-Mex). I went for lunch a while ago and it was great value for the price and delicious. I went back to try the a la carte a few months later and was not disappointed. The ceviche was alright and the avocados in the guacamole weren’t ripe enough, but the rest was outstanding, dessert included. It’s such a shame we were the only clients when we dined there because it’s a great little place with talented chefs.
Food had possibility. A little salt can go a long way in chicken burritos but they were saltless. The slowcooked pork tacos were not hot. Service was polite but very slow. The fan in kitchen may have been out of service because the air in the restaurant was quite smokey. Sauces had great flavour and just enough heat.

Best mexican food I've had in Finland for sure! Tough to complain or critique the three course lunch I just ate, delicious.
