Probably the best nature center in Lapland. Great service, free museum, free exhibition. Local souvenir shop with nice products. If you are looking for advice for your trekking/biking or any trip, the friendly personnel will help you. If you are in the area, go have a look! It won't cost you anything, but you'll probably learn something new.

Very friendly service. You’ll get great tips what to do outdoors at Ylläs. Nice place to start your holiday especially if you don’t have plans yet what to do.

Great free exhibition and hiking info center

Large, well-stocked information center. Lots of maps and good advice from the staff. There is a spectacular museum exhibit on the bottom floor which is worth an hour of your time, at minimum. We took a 2 hour round trip hike from here to a small Kota with a fireplace. For an even better experience, bring some sausages to grill.

Good place to start your journey to the nature park. They have information desk to help you, maps to buy, place to even wash your bike. And of course good toilets. Ylläs-Levi route also starts from here.
