House Damage and Dirt around caused by Dilettante Work Case: Maan Lämpö digging from the well to the house, 20900, Turku Unprofessional work caused the damages to the house in the form of the unnecessary big perforating hole on the outside wall, the house’s protective layer (protective plastic sheet and thick foam panel) was damaged. As a result, the outer wall of the foundation is not insulated from soil moisture. Besides, groundwater and dirt went inside the house and its layers. The workers drilled one big hole to the house, instead of two small pipe holes. We have asked before drilling if they are going to drill two pipes, but they confirmed that they always drill one hole. The workers dug a channel from the ground well to the house's wall. They put two corrugated pipes into the drilled tunnel and put construction foam. The construction foam was only the isolation. When they put the ground back to the trench, the groundwater and dirt went inside the house and flowed between its layers. When we told them about this problem first, they tried to manage it by adding more foam from inside the house. We asked them to take ground and foam away to make proper isolation. After workers offered to dry the place with a small building hot air dryer and repeat the foam isolation, they insisted on this with an argument \we are doing this every day.\ Their method of isolation does not protect the house's foundation from destruction and will cause the extra humidity inside the house and its layers. When we asked workers if they have other types of isolation, they refused to answer this question. IN RESULT, OTHER COMPANY FINISHED THEIR WORK.
